Through AFBA (Austin Food Blogger's Alliance) and Twitter, I have linked up with many Austin bloggers. I have discovered amazing recipes and local eateries— my 'To Eat' and 'To Cook" lists are growing too fast! But I love it; there is something about reading from bloggers that live in your town. When I read from Austin bloggers, I can connect with them by the places they mention. I can visualize myself at the restaurant they went to, that food truck that I pass on the way the work, or the park that I also play sports at.
It's funny to think I might run into them at the store or even find out that we were at the same Farmer's Market. Who would've thought that I would meet The Apron Gal? She is in my photography class and I was so excited to find out that she has a food blog. Turns out, she is also in the Alliance!
Anyway, I just wanted to share the news with my current readers. This blog started off as a personal outlet, and because of your support, I have become much more proud and open about it. I hope to learn more about blogging, apply everything I have learned in photography class, and develop my writing skills. Of course, I will also continue to cook and spread the word about healthy foods :)
I can't wait to see where these new networks will take me. Thank you for your support!
