There isn’t much to this post except this pretty bowl of oatmeal.
I’d also like to point out that my happiness is through the roof. I am home for five WHOLE days before I’m back on the road again. I actually put my suitcase away, when normally it sits in my room, waiting to be packed in a short 30 hours. And, my own bed, ahhhh….
Being home and munching on this small bowl of chewy oats… I am a happy girl, my friends. I added chia seeds, soy milk, almonds and dried cranberries and blueberries and I am so content.
Add Chia seeds.
Just do it. It takes only 10 seconds and makes the meal 10 times more nutritious.
Simple, delicious and so pretty… I just had to share.
I hope y’all are keeping warm on this stormy, rainy and crazy windy morning in Austin! It’s good to be back home.
1/2 cup oatmeal
3/4 or 1 cup water (depending on your liking)
Dash of Soy Milk Light
1 tsp Chia seeds
1 tsp Agave Nectar
Walnuts and dried fruit (optional)
Heat up oatmeal, chia seeds and water until desired consistency. Add agave, walnuts, and dried fruit. Or go for some brown sugar, cinnamon and bananas!
