First off, happy 2013 NFL Season Opener!!! I’m so excited for football to start again. It’s the start of devoting Sundays to the TV, beer, and screaming fans… I love it. Go Niners! and go Aaron Rodgers :)
Second… The classic breakfast sandwich… delicious. Most famously seen in a less healthy version at McD’s as the Egg McMuffin.
Hamilton Beach has created a genius product. You can make a breakfast sandwich sans pan, sans spatula, sans mess. Personalize your very own breakfast sandwich in just 5 minutes! Now there are no excuses to eat hydrogenated oil-filled bars or worse, skip breakfast entirely.
You can use eggs or egg whites in the plate that has a slide out bottom. Once the egg is cooked through, you can slide out the plate, to join your sandwich.
You can make so many different things, so if you don’t like egg sandwiches, you also make biscuits, paninis and my favorite, chocolate croissants!
So who wants one of these? Yes, I’m giving away one of these beauties. Simply like The Fresh Find on Facebook and follow me on Twitter. See below for more ways to enter!

September 8, 2013 at 3:00 amHow about Tofu? I’ve recently started broiling it and it’s amazing! Drain the tofu about 6 hours, coat it in butter, olive oil, salt, garlic and pepper, then broil it on an aluminum covered sheet for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once. Great flavor!

September 11, 2013 at 11:33 amYum Mahdi, that sounds delicious! Do you use any other sauces? I always get worried it will run, but I have never drained it for that long. I will try that next time. Thanks for reading and sharing!

September 17, 2013 at 7:03 pmGreat post! Did the egg cook all the way through? I am semi paranoid about getting sick from eating a under cooked egg!

September 19, 2013 at 11:14 pmYes the egg fully cooks! I leave it cooking for about 4-5 minutes and each time, it is cooked. The maker gets hot… I touched it on accident and I burnt myself, so don’t worry about it not cooking :)
