PhoNatic Vietnamese Cuisine fit for Vegetarians and Vegans

On a cold Winter day, I don’t know if there is anything better than a piping hot bowl of pho.  We have had some cold, cold days and I stopped by PhoNatic Vietnamese Cuisine because I love their inventive vegetarian and vegan options!

As you know, pho is typically made with a beef, chicken, or fish-based broth.  PhoNatic is one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in Austin to offer a true vegetable-based pho.  I got the Pho Chay, a slow cooked vegetable broth chocked full of veggies, crispy tofu, and topped with fried shallots.  Completely hit the spot on that icy day!

Probably my faaaaavorite veg-friendly dish is their Crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu.  It’s deliciously seasoned, with jalapeños and fried shallots.  And it is SO good.

Other delicious options are the veggie spring rolls and tofu vermicelli bowls!  They also have a vegan-friendly Iced Vietnamese Coffee, made with soy milk, and it is DELICIOUS.
