How to Roast Garlic

How to roast garlic AND make any meal 1000 times more delicious. This is a basic staple “recipe” in our household. There isn’t much to it, but it makes a huge difference in meals.

Oven roasted garlic will not only make your kitchen and house smell insanely good, but it will elevate any dish that you cook from here on. And it’s ridiculously easy.

I have added this to pastas, sauces, salads and so much more. One of my favorite ways is to spread it on toasted bread with ricotta and a touch of salt. To die for.

Follow these simple steps on how to roast garlic:

1- Cut the garlic, so each pod is exposed

2- Drizzle olive oil over each pod

3- Wrap in foil

4- Place in the oven for 60 minutes at 400 degrees. (I’ve also let it sit for 75 minutes)

5- Unravel carefully and let it cool. Pop out the garlic and use to your liking.

I used roasted garlic in this Whole 30 Creamy Cashew Alfredo and it was a huge hit.
